Whether you are currently serving, a proud Veteran, or part of a Veterans’ family, VeteranHub is dedicated to connecting you with a wide range of services tailored to your situation. Our goal is to ensure you receive the support and assistance you deserve.
We understand the unique challenges faced by Veterans’, particularly those no longer serving, we are here to provide the supports that makes a difference.

Here are a few key areas we may be able to assist you:
Physical and Mental Health:
The health and wellbeing of Veterans’ and their families is our priority. We provide guidance, support, and referrals to access healthcare services and other support networks to address both your physical and mental health.
Our dedicated professionals understand every Veterans’ path is unique and are here to walk beside you when needed, on your journey to optimal health.
Housing, Income and Finances:
We understand the importance of stable housing and financial security. Our team can assist you in accessing appropriate housing options, provide emergency financial relief or link you with the right people to support you in getting back on your feet.
Safety and Justice:
If you require Legal assistance, our team can assist in finding the right service for your situation.
Social Support and Connection:
Strong social connections are important to our overall positive wellbeing. VeteranHub understands that at times, connecting with others may be the furthest thing on your mind. When the time suits, we can facilitate opportunities set at your own pace, to connect with other Veterans, community groups or to participate in various activities that foster camaraderie and social engagement.
Recognition and Respect:
We recognise and value the contributions made by all serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force personnel. We strive to ensure that you receive the recognition and respect you deserve for your service.
RSL Employment Program
The right role can give you purpose and direction. It can help you grow and develop in a fulfilling career. And it can help you transition into civilian life or settle in after relocating.
IIf you’re a veteran or the partner of a current or ex-serving Defence member, the RSL Employment Program can help you find meaningful employment.

Available nationally, this free program is delivered in Tasmania by RSL Tasmania in partnership with RSL Queensland. It’s available online or over the phone.
Our highly trained employment consultants will work closely with you to determine how they can best support your search for employment.
This support may include:
- help translating military skills for the civilian job market
- help interpreting selection criteria and writing CVs, application letters and social media profiles
- connections to employers across Australia
- training and development
- vocational counselling
- career development
- interview coaching.
Compensation
Navigating the DVA claims process can be confusing, time consuming and stressful.
Let our dedicated team guide you through the process and ensure you get the most beneficial outcome.

DVA Claims
Whether you just need advice to complete your application, or you don’t know where to start, our trained staff and volunteers can help. Our Compensation Advocates will establish the details of your claim, do much of the research, and help you complete and lodge your paperwork. And while your claim is being determined, VeteranHub Advocates will support you through the process, explaining what is required and ensuring you are kept informed every step of the way.
Our advocacy assistance is free and can be done online, in person and over the phone.
DVA Appeals
If your DVA claim is unsuccessful, our expert Advocates can assist with an appeal to the Veterans’ Review Board (VRB) or the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT).
Our team can guide you through the appeals process and help you get the most beneficial outcome. Our advocacy assistance is free and can be done online, in person or over the phone.
The assistance you’ll receive from a VeteranHub may include:
- qualified advice and assistance
- research into your entitlements
- review of your claim paperwork for any errors or omissions
- help in gathering additional evidence
- support through the VRB and AAT hearings
